New to WorldStrides? We invite you to join us on a free Program Leader Training trip before you travel with students to experience our services firsthand. We’ll dive beyond the itinerary to introduce you to the sights, culture, food, and history of exciting destinations and show you what makes us unique. You’ll also earn a Professional Development certificate for participating!
I learned how to handle intercultural differences, communicate across cultures, and prepare students for these enriching challenges. I also learned the routines of being a program leader by experiencing them myself — going on a tour, meeting deadlines, keeping a group together at a location. This was a highly educational experience for a program leader.

If you are leading a domestic education, performing, sports, or Explorica by WorldStrides program, please speak with your WorldStrides team member regarding opportunities relevant to your program.
Commonly Asked Questions
What is covered with this trip and do I have to pay anything? WorldStrides will cover the cost of your flight from the same gateway as your student tour to and from your destination, your hotel accommodations, plus meals and activities. We typically cover 2 meals per day. We also include all gratuities. Any costs associated with baggage fees or additional meals or souvenir shopping are not covered by WorldStrides.
Can I arrive early or extend my stay? Yes, WorldStrides will work with you on your flights to arrive early or to extend your stay. It is your responsibility to arrange additional nights accommodations and those costs will be your responsibility. Any other costs incurred for additional days/nights of the trip (food, airport transfers, etc.) will also be your responsibility.
When will I know if I am traveling on my 1st or 2nd choice trip? Within 30 days of completing your form, a WorldStrides representative will provide you with an update regarding your trip. All of the Training trips are first-come, first-served and may fill prior to the deadline listed.
Can I bring a guest? We allow for adult guests if you qualify by enrolling the number of travelers needed listed above. We cannot accommodate guests beyond this. Our groups typically fill to capacity.
