At WorldStrides, when it comes to support – we’ve got you covered. For the next couple of months, we’ll be spotlighting our awesome Customer Service team. As your students gear up for your trip, our Customer Service team is on standby, ready to answer any questions that parents might have. Check out what’s new with them!

New Vice President

Customer Service welcomes Jeff Coppola, our new Vice President of Customer Support.  As a two time graduate from Penn State’s acclaimed Supply Chain program, Jeff brings result-based experiences in delivering measurable improvements to organizations’ people, performance and systems.   With focuses across client services, operations, and information technology, Jeff has led transformations for a variety of consumer product goods and education-based services companies.  As a lifelong learner, his passion for education, travel, and experiencing other cultures from their perspectives makes Jeff a great fit as our new leader of our customer support, financial services and fulfillment teams.  Jeff, his wife Mary, and son Addison, are very excited about returning to the Charlottesville area after a fourteen year hiatus in Baltimore.

New Merida Office

In an effort to provide bilingual support for our K-12 division, we have recently opened a new office in Merida, Mexico. In just two months, over 12,000 calls have been answered! Consisting of a team of 10 people, this new initiative allows Worldstrides to offer bilingual support, reducing dependence on Interpreter Service for our Spanish speaking students and parents. We’re excited for this new group to join our Customer Service team!

Payments Desk Team

A new addition to our Customer Support Team is the Payments Desk Team!  In November, we created this team to provide special payment plans for our customers that are struggling financially. Consisting of seven specialists, this team works with parents to find a payment plan that works for them while securing their child’s reservation, as well as to provide support by following up with customers to help them stay on track with their payment schedule. We are very excited about our new team and look forward to a great season!

New Features in Financial Services

The FSR team is here to support our Program Leaders and Account Managers with all participant financial related questions. This season, the team has been taking a more collaborative engagement approach, by working with new Program Leaders to assist them with the financial process at the time of group set up, as well as reviewing the group with Program Leaders to ensure all questions are answered and the best selection for their group is in place. They’ve been also focusing on helping parents stay on track with payment plans and are readily available to find the best financial plan for our parents.
