Through our partnership with University of California San Diego (UCSD), WorldStrides is pleased to offer a Summer 2021 session of the graduate course, “Instruction and Management for Increased Learning.”
This 3-credit graduate course is being offered to you with our educator discount for only $299. This is a wonderful value that enables teachers like you to capitalize on professional development funds at your school in addition to making it easier for you to invest in it yourself.
The course runs for eight weeks and consists of six units, plus a summative assessment. Segments are intentionally designed to give the flexibility teachers need to be successful and simultaneously manage multiple responsibilities and complex schedules. This course is designed for full-time educators and capitalizes on incorporating current classroom practices into graduate coursework. The syllabus is attached here so that you can learn more.

- Go to https://www.educationaltravel.com/wsacademics-2021 to access the course registration page. Please be aware that this site is geared towards travel programs, so there are some aspects of the signup process that can be ignored.
- Click the orange Sign Up Now button
- The next page you’ll see is about late enrollment policies for travel, which do not apply to this graduate course. Click “I have read and agree to WorldStrides’ Late Enrollment Policies” and then click Next to continue with the registration process.
- Type your contact information. All fields with a red asterisk are required.
-If you are a program leader with WorldStrides International or Explorica, you may click “I already have a WorldStrides account” to register with your existing account.
-You don’t need to click that you have a current passport.
-We suggest that you use your email address as your username. Then create your password.
-The Emergency Contact Information section is not relevant, but it is required to complete the signup process. Blanks must be filled in. - Click “I agree that the first name, middle name & last name entered will match what is printed on my passport.” Click Next.
- The next page is about Travel Protection, which does not relate to the graduate course. Click None (I waive all travel protection plan coverage), confirm your choice, then click Next.
- You may ignore the content on the Customizations page. Click Next.
- Enter your payment information using a debit or credit card.
- Click “I have a voucher code” and enter code SummerSchool21. This will bring your total to $299. Click Next.
- Confirm everything and check all four boxes under “Legal Information.”
- Click Submit!
Once your enrollment has been received, your course login information will be emailed directly to you by June 18, 2021.
