Join WorldStrides and other teachers across the New York area as we travel the world with food, wine, and plenty of fun! One of New York’s most prestigious restaurants, DANIEL, will play host to this incredible event where you’ll learn more about the many rewards and benefits available to you (and your students) when you travel with WorldStrides. You’ll take part in interactive cooking demonstrations, hear from WorldStrides team members about new tools available to help get more students and families excited about your trip, and of course, enjoy a world-class meal prepared by the award-winner chefs of DANIEL. We promise – this is an event you will not want to miss!
Schedule of Events for Saturday, March 11
This event will be jammed packed with delicious food, amazing wines, fun activities, and great networking with other WorldStrides traveling teachers.
- 11am: Event check in and interactive cooking demonstration
- 11:30am: Interactive learning session with presentations from WorldStrides team members and other long-time traveling WorldStrides teachers.
- 1pm: Lunch. It’s a given – the food will be amazing! But, there will also be some fun (and learning) involved with dessert!
The event will conclude by 3pm, giving you plenty of time to explore New York City in the afternoon!

To qualify for your 2018 WorldStrides rewards, simply follow the guidelines below. Registrant travel is not required for Program Leader Rewards eligibility. Only full-paying participants count toward the reward milestones. Rewards are not cumulative and are non-transferable. Rewards may only be substituted for lesser rewards. Scholarships have no cash equivalent.
