Boston Teacher Orientation Trip

Congratulations! You have qualified for a FREE trip to Boston!

Thanks to your hard working in making educational travel possible for your students, you have qualified for a free trip to Boston during WorldStrides’ Teacher Orientation Trip. You’ll join other educators from all across the country for three days and two nights in one of the most historic cities in the U.S. You’ll have the opportunity to network with other educators, learn more about WorldStrides, see how a WorldStrides travel program works (before you have your students with you), all while having an amazing time touring some of this country’s most historic locations. Best of all, this trip is completely free to you!

To secure your spot, simply complete this form and WorldStrides will take care of the rest. You must complete your registration by March 31, 2024 in order to secure your spot on the trip.


Schedule of Events

The event takes place Friday, April 26 – Sunday, April 28, 2024 and will include all the following amazing activities.

Our host hotel for the weekend will be the Boston Marriott Copley Place.

Friday, April 26

  • Arrivals throughout the day.
  • Happy Hour & Welcome Reception
  • Dinner at Fenway Park while we watch the Red Sox take on the Chicago Cubs.

Saturday, April 27

  • Breakfast and Professional Development Session
  • Tour of the Mayflower II and Plimoth Patuxet
  • Lunch at Plimoth Patuxet
  • Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum Tour
  • Happy Hour at FAQ Session
  • Dinner
  • Free time to explore the city

Sunday, April 28

  • Breakfast
  • Course Leader led walking tour Freedom Trail. Explore the North End which includes the Paul Revere Statue, Old North Church, and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground
  • Lunch at Quincy Market
  • Afternoon Departures

Commonly Asked Questions

What is covered with this trip and do I have to pay anything? WorldStrides will cover the cost of your flight to and from Boston, your hotel accommodations, and the meals and activities stated in the above schedule. Any costs associated with baggage fees or additional meals or souvenir shopping are not covered by WorldStrides.

Can I arrive early or extend my stay? Yes, WorldStrides will work with you on your flights to arrive early or to extend your stay. It is your responsibility to arrange additional nights accommodations and those costs will be your responsibility. Any other costs incurred for additional days/nights of the trip (food, airport transfers, etc.) will also be your responsibility.

Am I allowed to bring a guest? This trip is for educators only and due to space limitations, only those teachers qualifying may attend the events and activities listed above. However, if you do decide to bring a guest, that guest is free to stay in your hotel room but they will not be able to accompany you at any of the meals or on any of the tours.
