We can’t wait to host you at our Spring 2024 Warm-Up Weekend in Nashville! You’ll meet our team, see our events in action, and network with like-minded Directors from across the country.
Below you’ll find the weekend’s itinerary. All activities are subject to change. If you have any questions, please call Stephanie Harrington at 770-262-8081.
Our host hotel for the weekend is: Residence Inn Nashville Downtown Convention Center, 410 Rep John Lewis Way South, Nashville, Tennessee, 37203. Please do not contact the hotel directly with questions. Your accommodations have been taken care of.
Warm-Up Weekend Itinerary:
Friday, April 5
- Hotel check-in by 4pm at front desk*
- Between 4-5pm: Drop by to pick up your welcome bag at the WorldStrides table in the lobby (by the breakfast area)
- 5pm: Meet & Greet at the AC Lounge bar (inside the Residence Inn)
- 5:45pm: Depart for dinner (12-minute walk to Hard Rock Café)
- 6pm: Dinner at Hard Rock Café
- 7:30pm: Concert at Schermerhorn Symphony Center
Saturday, April 6
- Breakfast at your leisure at the hotel starting at 7am
- 9:15am: Meet in Hotel lobby to depart on guided sightseeing bus tour. We will tour Madame Tussauds, stop by the Parthenon, and end with lunch plus a tour at Ryman Auditorium.
- Free time on your own
- 5pm: Meet in hotel lobby to depart for dinner (via Uber)
- 5:30pm: Dinner at Aquarium Restaurant
- 7pm: Show at Grand Ole Opry
Sunday, April 7
- 9am: Meet for breakfast as a group in the hotel restaurant
- Hotel checkout and store luggage
- 9:50am: Walk as a group from hotel to Country Music Hall of Fame
- 10am: Self-guided Tour of Country Music Hall of Fame
- Depart for home
Important notes:
- We will be walking between many locations. If you have mobility issues or are concerned about traveling on foot, please let us know ahead of time. Please remember to wear comfortable shoes.
- *Arrival day: The hotel will give early check-ins as much as able. If you’re not able to check-in early, the hotel is happy to store your luggage for you while you explore.
- Transfers to/from airport: You’ll be provided an Uber voucher as required to travel to and from the airport. Your voucher will arrive to you by text to the cell number you provided.
- Driving: If driving, your parking costs will be covered by the WorldStrides account with the hotel.
